Kursk is a spy-themed adventure game developed by the independent Polish studio Jujubee. Production appeared, among other things, on the PC.
Kursk PC – Review:
The story focuses on the mysterious crash of the Russian nuclear-powered submarine, the eponymous K-141 Kursk PC . In August 2000, it sank in the Barents Sea, drowning 118 crew , and the official version of events is still under discussion. The player takes on the role of a spy on board the ship; his task is to obtain information about the Russian WA-111 Szkwał super-gravity torpedoes. In the course of the mission, the hero becomes an eyewitness to the disaster.
In the game KURSK, we observe the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). During the game, we visit not only the ship’s deck, but also Moscow and the city of Widiajevo. Our overriding objective is to obtain secret information, for example from high-ranking military personnel or of the Kursk crew, with whom we establish friendly relations; we must be vigilant in order not to be exposed. Moreover, the course of events depends to a large extent on our decisions, which may have long-term consequences.
Kursk PC has a three-dimensional graphic frame maintained in a realistic style.
