Bulb Boy is Ready!

Bulb Boy is an independent Polish adventure game with elements of the survival horror genre.

The title was created in the Krakow Bulbware studio, which consists of only a few employees. The Bulb Boy action takes place in the Electric Forest, where the title Bulb Boy grew up. One day, however, darkness took over the hero’s family home, and GRANDPAraffin and Mothdog disappeared under mysterious circumstances. As an example of a child, we are moving to look for them. An additional attraction is the boy’s retrospectives depicting the history of the family home.

The gameplay in Bulb Boy is based on the mechanisms of the classic point ‘n’ click games. This means that during the adventure we visit other locations and use the found objects to solve logic puzzles. The mentee also has special powers. His head-like head light can brighten even the darkest rooms. In addition, it emits heat and blasts electricity, which is useful when fighting opponents. The title, however, does not put a direct fight against the opponents, because most meetings with them end in our death. Graphic Boy Bulb created in 2D and uses mainly shades of black and green. It gives the game a distinctive and unique style. The authors were inspired by the classic iconography of film horror films, especially those produced in the 1980s
