Against the storm is a strategy game of the city builder type, enriched with solutions taken from the roguelike genre. The production was developed by the independent Polish studio Eremite games.

Against the Storm PC – Review:

Against the Storm PC takes us on a journey into a fantastic world inhabited by humans, beavers and lizards. The land is struggling with blightstorm-a powerful storm that cyclically destroys everything in its path. In the course of the game, we take on the role of Viceroy, commissioned by the ruler to acquire the resources necessary to rebuild and improve the capital smouldering city. To do this, we must build more settlements in the wilderness and bravely face adversity.

In against the storm pc the action was shown from a bird’s eye view. The game takes place in the rhythm of three rainy seasons, varying in of rainfall intensity and storm violence. As the of the newly created settlement, we must focus primarily on its continuous expansion.

This requires us to constantly feed the forest, acquire raw materials and erect various structures and create complex production chains. Among the available buildings, the most important are the camps of collectors for the exploitation of natural resources and workshops for the production of various goods. In the pursuit of the task entrusted to us, we must not forget our subjects, who must not only have a place to sleep, but also something to eat; we should also provide them from time to time with a little entertainment, which they will find, among other things, in taverns. As we progress, we unlock random improvements and patterns that should make our lives a little easier.

We can use the accumulated resources to expand smouldering city. After the Storm PC has ed, we have no choice but to choose a place on the map that has been changed by violent storms and start the arduous process of building another settlement in the new territory.
